Taylor Head Beach

Taylor Head Beach is a Provincial Park in Nova Scotia, Canada. It is located southwest of Sheet Harbour.[1]

It has 1 km (0.62 mi) of sandy beach and 18 km (11 mi) of hiking trails. There are many scenic hiking trails varying in length. There are also many geological features and natural habitats.[2]

Taylor Head Beach is one of the few places in Nova Scotia that has sand volcanoes.[3]

No hunting is allowed in the Provincial Park.

History

Two or three sailors drowned Off the coast of Taylor Head and are buried there.[4]
